Frequently Asked Questions

Do you provide the alcohol?
*We cannot purchase or transport alcohol.*Most mobile bars operate under a “dry hire” model where event hosts supply the alcohol, and we provide the preparation, service, staff, and equipment. We can procure non-alcoholic accoutrements like glassware, juice, mixers, fruit, straws, and garnishes, etc.
Where can The Gather Rig go?
See the map below to learn whether you're in range for free transportation. We travel farther, depending on the location, for an additional charge of $2 per mile each way.
How big is The Gather Rig?
76" wide x 81" tall x 137" long — OR — 6.33 feet wide, 6.75 feet tall, 11.42 feet long. Roughly the size of an SUV with a roof rack.
Do I have to provide my own glassware?
Disposable 12 oz eco cups are included in the price, however, you can provide your own glasses from a rental company like Raphael's, Abby Party Rentals, Hostess Haven, Bright Events, etc.
Are you insured and licensed?
Yes we are and can happily provide a certificate of insurance, Responsible Beverage Service certificate, licensing, etc
How much do people usually spend on alcohol?
The cost of alcohol for a wedding typically ranges from $15 to $90 per guest, or about $2,500 – $6,000+ overall, depending on guest count and beverage selection. A menu of 1 or 2 pre-made "signature cocktails" (plus beer and wine) saves a lot of money compared to offering a fully stocked, customizable liquor bar.
How much should I order?
Expect guests to drink about 2 drinks in the first hour and 1 drink every hour after that, but your mileage may vary. Use our handy drink calculator below to help approximate your order volume.
